I can do combos, I have done them plenty of time, but unless you're going against a pleb as in a actual npc pleb with no skill, you can't do combos because when you initiate the combo you will immediately be riposte. I have tried doing faints and although it does work sometimes, it always leaves you open to get riposte'd which can mean alot of damage taken still. I am getting perfect blocked, isn't that kind of how you get riposte in the first place, my point wasn't that getting perfect blocked/riposte is annoying, its that they do it EVERY TIME. I'm complaining because when going against any enemy with some skill they will constantly block all your attacks, and follow up with a attack of their own meaning you just trade blows and block each attack over and over again, thats not fun, then with skillful and armoured targets they will just sit and wait for you to attack and riposte every attack which means you will lose no matter what and they don't swing at you they just sit and wait, which means late game combat will just be 2 people staring at each other not fighting because you're both waiting to do a riposte on them. I am trying to get better at the game, I want to use all the abilities and functions the game provides you but the thing is, the combat doesn't cater to what you are given, thats what I am complaining about, why give combos when your enemy will riposte you for even attempting and will do a shit ton of damage to you? Why bother blocking at all nevermind perfect blocking when you can rarely get a hit in afterwards, yet when your attack gets blocked it opens you up for a full combo with no recovery since the camera gets shoved to the side?
